AT&T and Direct TV - Direct TV Contracts


I have had AT@T U-verse services in another state. I moved to Oklahoma 10 months ago and they encouraged me to use Direct TV as a substitute service for television services. They stated that I would get one bill and get a discount on my services. It has been a nightmare. I changed services to reduce my bill. I lost 140 channels and reduced my bill by one whole dollar. I am told by Direct that the lowest I can get my bill is 54.00. They state a lower price but by the time they finish adding on all of the miscellaneous charges it is 54.00 ....unless I want a more expensive service that will only cost me 54.00. Imagine that it must be a magic number. If I cancel they want twenty dollars per month of unfinished contract and they take back the tuner. I call that the fleecing of Americans.
